Privacy Policy

Effective April 26, 2026

1. What we collect

When you create a YoTummy account we collect basic profile information such as name, email address, phone number, and city or ZIP code. When you list items as a Seller we additionally collect store information you choose to publish (store name, photo, description, address, hours, social-media links, food licence status). When you save a delivery or pickup address we store it.

We collect basic technical information about your device (IP address, browser type, OS) so the service can function and so we can detect abuse. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. How we use it

  • To operate the platform: show listings, route messages, send notifications.
  • To send transactional messages (account verification, listing confirmations) via Twilio.
  • To enforce these terms and protect against abuse.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

YoTummy shares your information only with:

  • The Buyer/Seller you choose to contact. When you initiate contact via a listing, the other party will receive enough information to respond (name, contact method).
  • Service providers we rely on to run the platform: currently including Twilio (SMS/email delivery), Stripe (subscription billing for premium sellers), Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile app distribution and in-app purchase), and our hosting provider. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services for YoTummy.
  • Law enforcement or other parties when required by valid legal process or to protect the rights, property, or safety of YoTummy, our users, or the public.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and broad usage patterns. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Your choices

  • You can edit your profile, listings, and saved addresses inside the app at any time.
  • You can delete your account by contacting support; we will remove your personal information from active systems within thirty (30) days, subject to lawful retention requirements.
  • You can opt out of non-essential email by following the unsubscribe link in any such email.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on stored data. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and any regulator as required by applicable law.

7. Children

The platform is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
